Compagnons Bâtisseurs

The Association des Compagnons Bâtisseurs, aka CBB, is a belgian non-profit and non-political youth organization.

Our projects aim to support the development of active citizens, able of sense of responsibility, criticism and solidarity. They offer a space for interaction and expression of people from diverse origins and abilities, with the objectives to encourage their awareness on societal challenges (from local to global level), to raise new links of solidarity between them and between their communities, and to support their full participation in the society.

We work on these aims thanks to a continuous dynamic of international exchanges.

Moving Ground

Moving Ground breaks down barriers with dance, theater, music, and spoken word.

We offer accessible classes, camps, workshops, and performances for all city residents between the ages of 6 and 30. We explore performing arts, create stories that make our neighborhood and city safer, more equal, and more fun for everyone, and give space to express our feelings.

AFS Interkultur office in Copenhagen

We are one of the biggest youth exchange organisations in Denmark, and we are now looking for an ESC volunteer to support our 18+ team, where we work on programmes for young people over 18 years old. This includes volunteering and college experiences in Denmark and abroad.

We are a volunteer driven organisation, so one of the most important tasks for an ESC volunteer is to work as a link between the volunteers and the office staff on coordinating our activities.

The Cologne Volunteer Center is a local coordinating organisation and we coordinate several hosting projects in Köln/Germany. We are open for applicants who are interested in a 12-month-service, have good knowledge of German and are under the age of 30. Kreisjugendwerk AWO Karlsruhe-Stadt

The Kreisjugendwerk is collaborating as a host, sending & coordinating organization for the European Solidarity Corps Volunteers. Jugendwerk is hosting & coordinating 14 ESC volunteers for 5 different projects every year.

All the projects include an integration German course, a ticket to travel for free all around Germany, pocket money, food allowance and a private room in a shared flat. All volunteers are offered the opportunity for a unique event, where they can present their own cultures and traditions, boosting the interculturality and the solidarity of the voluntary service.

Creative Connections

Short summary: We would like to give our Youth Centre and Hostel a fresh makeover. We would like to make it feel even more welcoming, cozy, and fun for the young locals and our hostel guests. This calls for creativity, DIYs, planning fun activities, collaborating with local groups, etc. We would also like to make it more visible and turn it into a go-to spot. Which is why we are looking for some help in stepping up our digital game so more locals will notice us and they can benefit from our offers.
